Issues list
Suggest ways to triage, prioritize, or organize your backlog. Ask it to find issues matching specific criteria or create quick-win tasks.
Issue detail
Help improve the issue description, suggest related work, identify dependencies, or start building the feature.
Board view
Analyze workflow bottlenecks, identify stale issues, or suggest how to balance work across the team.
Cycle view
Review sprint progress, identify at-risk items, and suggest what to carry over or cut.
Project overview
Summarize project status, highlight blockers, and suggest next steps.
What the PM Assistant can do
Read operations
Search and filter issues, get project overviews, list cycles, and query activity — all execute immediately.
Write operations
Create issues, update properties, and add issues to cycles. Some write operations (like bulk updates) require your approval.
Suggested prompts
The PM Assistant shows contextual prompt suggestions based on your current view. For example, on an issues list you might see "Create a quick-win issue" or "Triage the backlog by priority."
Opening the PM Assistant
Click the Kiln toggle button in any project sidebar to open the assistant panel. It slides in from the right without leaving your current view.
